Sew Fun(d) Scholarship – Our Social Fabric

Sew Fun(d) Scholarship

Sew Fund sewing machine scholarship

Sew Fun(d) is back for 2024 with TEN more sewing machines to give away! Apply now to receive a brand new Janome Sewist 740 worth $1299!

Our Social Fabric is passionate about nurturing and inspiring the fibre arts community and encouraging the next generation of sewists. We set up our Sew Fun(d) scholarship program to encourage and support aspiring designers and makers.

The scholarship is for high school students and gives young designers in the Metro Vancouver area an opportunity to get their hands on a brand-new sewing machine. In 2022 and 2023 we gave away ten Janome sewing machines

Do you know a young person who deserves a new sewing machine? Are they creative and skilled with their projects and always looking for extra class time to make their creations come to fruition? The Sew Fun(d) scholarship is for them!
