Colleen is thrilled to have found her dream job at OSF, where she can combine her love of fabric with her passion for data and spreadsheets! When she's not busy managing the shop or creating a new dress, she's at home enjoying extreme cuddles with her new puppy, Johnnie.

If you’ve ever read our newsletter, seen a social media post, or sent us a DM, chances are Gemma’s been involved! Gemma has brought her experience in the not-for-profit sector to OSF, blending it with her love of sewing for what she calls the perfect job. Outside of work, Gemma loves sewing everyday basics, experimenting in mixed media and being inspired by nature.

With a background in sustainable fashion, Sally is thrilled to be supporting the community from the other side of the process! When she’s not busy at OSF, she loves quilting with her two cats and a good British murder mystery in the background.

Shaela is the one who carefully picks and packs all your online orders, ensuring that our fabrics find their way to new homes across Canada. With a keen eye for detail, she makes sure each package is just right before sending it off. When she’s not packing orders she can be found with her cats and dogs either in the garden or at the sewing machine, keeping up with her business making plant-dyed handmade goodies.

Melina is part designer, part business brain, and fully obsessed with keeping OSF running smoothly. Coming from a family of makers, she naturally inherited a love for creativity and craftsmanship. Melina loves curating the store’s buttons, zippers, and unique treasures. Her superpower? Making OSF look amazing while rescuing forgotten gems, one sewing supply at a time.

Got a donation? Leave it to Tyler! With a diploma in Costume Design, he uses his knowledge to test and sort all fabrics coming into OSF. When he isn’t carrying bolts or helping the storefront, you can find him eating donair and sewing costumes for local drag performers.

Allison spends her time at OSF preparing all the products you see on our online store. She is a resident and lover of the East Van neighbourhood where OSF is located. When she's not sewing or knitting, she's usually playing video games or visiting the Vancouver public library.
