Introducing the Melange collection

Discover the beauty of texture and tone with Melange fabrics! Derived from the French word mélange, meaning ‘mixture’ or ‘blend’, this collection celebrates the art of combining fibres in different hues to create subtle multi-coloured textiles.

How does the magic happen? By mixing fibres of various colours before spinning them into yarn, a unique ‘speckled’ or ‘flecked' effect is created that gives each fabric its unmistakable charm. Melange fabrics are also known as ‘heather’ or ‘marl’ and are perfect for adding depth and sophistication to your sewing projects.

All of our fabrics are priced by the piece and not by the metre.  The price you see for each listing is the cost for the whole piece of fabric.
