Waffle Knit: Re-stock Alert!

The ever-popular Waffle Knit has been re-stocked!

This knit is so soft and cuddly and it's perfect for "at-home" and loungewear. Check out this outfit that my friend and I worked on together.

The top is a long-sleeved, boat neck loose-fitting top with strap detailing at the shoulders. I didn't use a pattern, just a hack from my basic knit top.

It's gently gathered at the waist and has shirt-tailed splits at the side seams just below the gathering.

For extra comfort, the sleeves have been gathered with a self-cuff, for a billowy effect.

My sewing partner writes: "Love these lounge pants made with soft, cozy OSF waffle knit in “Aubergine”. The photograph doesn't do justice to this beautiful colour. The knit has a waffle texture in both sides and one side has a soft, fuzzy finish.

I sewed these pants so the softest side would be next to my skin.

Now I don't want to take them off!
