OSF Pop-Up Sale Event, Thursday, Oct 15, 2020, 12-6pm

Hello everyone!
You're invited to our third October Pop-Up Sale Event happening this coming Thursday, October 15th from 12 to 6:00 pm.
No pre-registration will be required but we will be following all our standard safety protocols including requirements for face coverings, safe distancing and sanitizing. One of our wonderful volunteers will be at the door to ensure that we don't exceed our customer quota. (See below for accessibility notes)
OSF is Vancouver’s only non-profit textile recycling initiative – we are diverting textiles from the landfill and into the hands of creatives like you! 

INSULATED PLAID KNIT
Brrrr...it's cold outside - Our spacious and well-stocked shop has just-about everything you need for your Fall and Winter sewing projects. This week we're featuring this cozy and versatile insulated knit in a black and charcoal plaid. Yours truly made a fall jacket with asymmetrical collars and dolman sleeves using Very Easy Vogue pattern #9156  It went together well and I can't wait to take it out for a spin! (please note that the fabric was identified as being a wool knit in our e-mail to our newsletter list, but the top layer is a natural fiber (maybe cotton) with a synthetic lining inside and knit backing)

MERINO WOOL JERSEY KNIT 
OMG - Christmas has come early to OSF. We will have pre-cut bundles of Merino Wool Jersey Knit for sale this Thursday. Available  in two colours: See photo Cocoa (top) and light-weight Taupe (bottom) - just in time to coordinate with your Fall wardrobe!. Merino wool has amazing properties to keep you warm when it's cold but this natural fibre also helps to cool you in the summer and it's great for active wear. There will be a limit of one bundle per customer. 

FABULOUS $5 FINDS 
You folks love a bargain so we're continuing with our Fabulous $5 Finds including Fill-a-Bag of Buttons, Bags of Muslin pieces and Fill-A-Bag of Tiny Treasurers.

 LOCATION / ENTRANCE
Venables Street Entrance: From the parking lot, enter the MAIN BLUE door from the parking lot marked 1275 Venables. Walk up the stairs to the second floor and turn left. Follow the signs to OSF, Suite #270.

 WHERE TO PARK
Customers may park in VISITOR spots unless you are loading up your vehicle. On Thursdays you may park in front of the Russell Hendrix store after 4:00pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is ample parking in the parking lot and in front of the Russell Hendrix retail shop. There is parking on westbound Venables, west of Clark just past the parking lot entrance. Please park legally and avoid unwelcome surprises.

Accessibility: If you are coming to a Sale Event and require assistance with the wheelchair ramp and/or the freight elevator in our building, kindly send an e-mail to us a day or two before the event - we will have one of our volunteers available to assist you.
