Article: April 2022 - recycling totals

April 2022 - recycling totals

Thanks to our donors, volunteers and customers we diverted an amazing 4,952 lbs (2,246kg) of textiles and sewing-related materials from landfill in April 2022. That’s the same as TWO baby humpback whales.

We aim to maximize the amount of fabric we divert from landfill by not making a profit on the products we sell. We cover our costs and that’s it! We’re the only fabric store in Canada who do this.

We are constantly working towards our mission of eradicating textile waste from Canadian landfills. Thank you for supporting us and being part of our community.
