The Cloth Shop offers beginner and intermediate classes for quilters and garment sewists. They have a beautiful, bright and airy studio above their retail shop on Granville Island.

Weaving Workshop / Rag Rugs. Experience weaving on a traditional floor loom in a textile weaving studio! Weave a Rag Rug from fabric scraps and yarn stash. I provide everything. The looms are ready.

Workshops for most ages and all sewing levels (including advanced courses on commercial machines). Small class sizes. Learn to: extend the life of what you have, reuse, re-purpose, mend and more.

Online classes in pattern making and fitting for experienced sewers and budding pattern makers. You'll learn how to develop basic pattern blocks and fit sewing patterns to your personal body measurements and shape.

We offer both youth and adult sewing classes. We also offer our studio space available to rent and you get full access to our giant cutting tables, sewing machines, sergers, and coverstitch machine.

Langara College Continuing Studies offers Introduction to Sewing and Sewing Levels 1 & 2 this Fall in person.

Mae studios believes in emulation through encounter. The studio collaborates with various actors in the field of fashion and runs regular sewing and pattern-making workshops.
