OSF Pop-Up Sale Event, Thurs. Oct 1, 12-6pm

Hello everyone,

SURPRISE! You're invited to OSF's Pop-Up Sale Event this coming Thursday, October 1st from 12noon to 6:00 pm. We are overflowing with beautiful fabrics and looking forward to sharing them with you. No pre-registration will be required for this event but we will be following all our standard safety protocols including mask wearing, safe distancing and sanitizing. One of our wonderful volunteers will be at the door to ensure that we don't exceed our customer quota.
OSF is Vancouver’s only non-profit textile recycling initiative – we are diverting textiles out of the landfill and into the hands of creatives like you! 

WOOL, TWEEDS AND PLAIDS
It's getting chilly out, time to think about making some Fall jackets and coats. We've got a fabulous selection of wool, wool blends, tartan prints, flecked tartans, coatings and synthetic/wool blends. Something for everyone!

DESIGNER BUTTONS 
Our Notions Department is brimming with everything you need for sewing up your new winter coat including patterns, thread, notions and designer buttons. Look at these beauties! Are you a crafter, elementary school teacher or just a lover of buttons of all shapes and sizes, check out our Fabulous $5 Fill-A-Button-Bag bins. 

QUILTED COAT LININGS 
Want to stay extra cozy this winter? We have beautiful double sided coat linings for your new coat. This quality lining comes in Ivory, White and Ecru colours. This fabric would also make a good doggie bed or lining for a tote bag. 

MUSLIN
Lots of muslin in the shop for your next crafty project - our muslin comes in bags of 30cm and 50cm squares - perfect for quilt block backings, craft and painting projects and wax food wraps. We also have bags of muslin strips which I hear is perfect for rope making! Strips are priced to sell at $1/bag!

HALLOWEEN'S COMING!
We have a very respectful supply of Halloween themed fabrics and the "Fancy" section is ready for all those princesses, ghosts and vampires out there. Our beautiful witch will be waiting to help you with all your costuming and sewing needs :)

HOME DECOR
Our Home Décor section has been restocked and bursting with tons of textures and weaves for all your decorating and crafting needs. Home Décor fabrics are used for table cloths, bags, cushions, furniture covers, pet beds, period costumes and so much more.

 LOCATION / ENTRANCE
Venables Street Entrance: From the parking lot, enter the MAIN BLUE door from the parking lot marked 1275 Venables. Walk up the stairs to the second floor and turn left. Follow the signs to OSF, Suite #270.

 WHERE TO PARK
Customers may park in VISITOR spots unless you are loading up your vehicle. On Thursdays you may park in front of the Russell Hendrix store after 4:00pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, there is ample parking in the parking lot and in front of the Russell Hendrix retail shop. There is parking on westbound Venables, west of Clark just past the parking lot entrance. Please park legally and avoid unwelcome surprises.

 ACCESSIBILITY
Accessibility: If you are coming to a Sale Event and require assistance with the wheelchair ramp and/or the freight elevator in our building, kindly send an e-mail to us a day or two before the event - we will have one of our volunteers available to assist you.
