Orca amount of fabric saved from landfill in August 2022!

Thanks to our donors, volunteers and customers we diverted 7,281 lbs (3,302 kg) of textiles and sewing-related materials from landfill in August 2022. Thank you for supporting us in our mission of eradicating textile waste from Canadian landfills.

Our store takes donated fabric that might have otherwise been considered waste and makes sure it doesn't end up in landfill by selling it to sewists and fabric enthusiasts. We keep our prices as low as possible to ensure we keep as much fabric as possible out of waste streams.
