This clear plastic/vinyl strapping with printed branding ("Vivian Wong") - originally used to secure garments to hangers - is a surprisingly versatile upcycled material for home sewists.

Here are several creative and practical ways it could be repurposed:

👉 Hanging loops or garment tags: Sew into the neckline or waistband of garments to act as a hanging loop—or as a branded detail in handmade garments.

👉 Reinforcement for seams: Sew inside seams for extra strength and shape, especially in necklines or shoulders in stretch garments. 

👉 Drawstring casing pull: Thread it through the casing of a bag or hoodie as a modern-looking drawstring.

👉 Jewellery or accessories: Make choker necklaces, keychains, or wristlets with a modern transparent edge.

👉 Plant or cable ties (non-sewing use): Cut into strips and use to organize cords, or as reusable ties for plants in the garden.
