OSF Sale – Thursday, March 12, 2pm-8pm

Hello everyone,

The month of March is more, more, more – we have more of everything!  Join us this Thursday for Our Social Fabric’s next Sale Event starting at 2pm. Our volunteers have been busy sorting, rolling and filling our bins! Come and enjoy the abundance we have to share with you! OSF is Vancouver’s only non-profit textile recycling initiative – we are keeping textiles out of the landfill and into the hands of creatives like you!

Our front table is full of interesting technical fabrics in variety of weights, colours and textures! Some are water resistant or water proof which are great for packs, bags, jackets and athletic gear.  Also included are a variety of mesh fabrics for those water bottle pockets and produce bags.

We received more bolts of that wonderful organic cotton jersey knit – it’s so soft and luxurious and comes in light gray, dark gray and purple. Lovely for children’s t-shirts and leggings (and for us grown-ups too). Lots of other cotton and natural knits to choose from including light weight rib knits, french terry and hoodie fleece. Speaking of hoodie fleece, have you registered for the upcoming Hoodie Workshop yet? Click here to to our website Workshops Page to register.

A lovely donation of quilting cottons and flannelette came to us last week and it’s all rolled and ready for you to make into beautiful creations! The summer craft fair season is fast approaching – time to get sewing! Have you registered for our Intro to Quilting class yet? (three spaces left)

Check out our “Naturals” table – a full bin of colourful silk, a bin of linen, cottons, rayons, silk chiffon and more.

Our Home Decor section is growing and is being replenished weekly – come and see the variety of textures, patterns and blends. Home Decor fabrics can be used for table cloths, bags, cushions, furniture covers, pet beds, period costumes and more.

Looking forward to seeing you this Thursday at Our Social Fabric, 1275 Venables, Suite 270.

Visit our Workshops Page for a list of upcoming workshops. We’ll be announcing our April workshop schedule soon.
