OSF Sale – Sunday, May26, 10am-1pm

Hi folks,
Spring has sprung and time to get sewing and upcycling that summer wardrobe…our next Sale is this coming Sunday, May 26th at 10am.

Muslin
Yes, the’re back – 100% cotton muslin squares in a variety of sizes – from 30cm to 50cm packaged in bundles of 40 squares. I pieced together a few larger pieces and made a child’s summer dress – see photo, pretty cute, eh? Our donor also gifted us with a new product from their production – “noodles” – these are thin strips of muslin selvage edging – we’ve packaged them in large bags for $2 each, amazingly soft and perfect for stuffing cushions, doggie beds and soft creatures. Weavers and tapestry artists will love these for their creative fibre arts projects. Because they’re cotton, the “noodles” and muslin fabric will take dye really well – check out our range of OzyCraft dyes in the notions section.

Naturals!
Just in time for summer, we have a beautiful assortment of natural knits including modal, bamboo cotton, cotton lycra knit, and 100% cotton knits ready to be turned into t-shirts, tops, skirts, hoodies, shorts – limited only by your imagination! The photo shows only a small selection of colours available.

Spring Blow-Out Sale Continues…
Two full tables of 50% off bundles of lovely wovens and knits. The only reason they’re half price is because we need the space to put out more fabric! Check out the selection down the centre aisle.

Specialty Cotton Knits
We have a few bolts of soft, 100% cotton tube knit in a natural/ecru/cream colour – this would be perfect for a hoodie, summer sweater or cardigan with a pair of lycra capris or a classy long sleeved t-shirt for guys. This knit comes in a tube shape measuring 70cm across (140cm open). And a few bolts of super soft 100% cotton white knit – perfect for loose t-shirts or pajamas or nighties for the kids – cotton is so great to sleep in! The tube knit measures 65cm across (130cm open)

Quilting Books
Some wonderful donations have come our way so we now have a full re-stocked Quilting book section in the Library – all brand new titles and the prices can’t be beat. If you are a new quilter and need some resource books, come check out our new inventory.

100% Cotton Twill
Stacks of 100% White Cotton Twill pieces – great for making beach bags, summer throw cushions, jean jackets, shorts and covers for patio chair cushions.

Thank you everyone for your continued support of Our Social Fabric  – this little non-profit organization is here because you believe that keeping textiles out of the landfill and into the hands of creatives, is important.
